Startup Biobío 2026 Kick-Off: On Wednesday, May 13, we took part in this event, where we were selected to join the fifth cohort alongside 29 other startups from the region.
During the event, we learned more about the program and everything coming up over the next few months, and connected with entrepreneurs, companies, and innovative projects driving solutions to a range of challenges in industry and society. It was a truly enriching experience to hear different perspectives, experiences, and ideas aimed at creating positive impact across a wide variety of fields.
Events like this also help strengthen the regional startup ecosystem, build new connections, and open up opportunities for collaboration among startups developing solutions focused on innovation, sustainability, and technology. Sharing experiences and learning about other projects' work was really motivating for us as a team.
One of the highlights of the Startup Biobío Kick-Off was the 1-minute pitch, where each startup shared the problem it aims to solve, the impact of its solution, and the motivation behind the project. It gave us the chance to present the purpose behind ClearPrint and how we're working to drive a more sustainable food industry through carbon footprint measurement and environmental transparency.
It was also a great opportunity to share our vision of why it matters to make sustainability and environmental information more accessible to consumers and businesses, using technology tools that enable more conscious, transparent decisions across the food industry.
It was truly inspiring to hear such different initiatives, all united by a common goal: creating value, innovation, and real impact from the region. Spaces like this not only allow us to learn and share experiences, but also strengthen the startup ecosystem and build connections that can open up new opportunities for future collaboration.
Many of the startups there are working on solutions in technology, social impact, sustainability, health, education, and various industry challenges, showing the huge innovative potential in the region today and why it's important to keep strengthening collaborative spaces like this.
We also took part in a valuable networking session that allowed us to connect with other companies, entrepreneurs, and key players in the region's innovation ecosystem. Being able to talk, exchange ideas, and learn about other projects was a very positive and motivating experience for our team.
These conversations also offer insight into the different experiences and challenges startups face as they grow, validate, and develop their ideas, providing valuable lessons for anyone building innovative solutions across different industries.
We'd also like to thank the entire Startup Biobío team for their support, always attentive, approachable, and ready to help throughout the day and the process. Their commitment to strengthening regional entrepreneurship and supporting startups through every stage of the program really shows.
Being part of this new cohort is a great opportunity to keep growing as a startup, strengthen our value proposition, and continue developing tools that help build a more transparent and sustainable food industry.
Through events like this, we aim to keep strengthening our vision as a startup focused on sustainability and innovation, learning from other projects and creating new opportunities for collaboration within the startup ecosystem.
Experiences like this also motivate us to keep developing technology solutions that make sustainability and environmental transparency accessible to more people and businesses, driving a food industry that's more conscious and better prepared for the challenges ahead.
We left feeling motivated and inspired by everything 2026 has in store
¡Vamos con todo!
